Junior All-Academic Tryout

@ Peoria Sports Complex – Mariner Side
The Junior All-Academic Game Tryout is for baseball players who have NOT yet committed to playing at a 4-year college or university and have been invited to participate in the tryouts to be held the morning of September 10, 2026.
Players will have the opportunity to try out in front of the selection committee and college coaches. This is a BBCOR event. Players selected from the tryout will be named to the Junior All-Academic Game, held Thursday evening (Sept. 10, 2026).
Academic Player Application
Tryout Fee: $299
Open only to players graduating in 2028 only that have not verbally committed to a 4-year college.
Academic Game Requirements: (Must meet at least one):
•3.7 GPA
•ACT score of 27 or higher
•SAT score of 1200 or higher
NEW FOR 2026: Two-Way Player Option (+$150)
Two-Way players will complete their full position player workout first, then throw their bullpen at the end for Pitching portion.
Application Deadline:
September 1, 2026 (or when positions are full)
Refund Policy:
The application fee will be fully refunded to any applicant who does not qualify or receive an invite to the Academic Tryout. The fee paid is to attend the tryout.
Refund requests must be submitted by September 1, 2026. No refunds after September 1.

Check-In
All players will receive a numbered jersey at check-in, which will be used to identify them throughout the day. Check-In will be available and encouraged on evening of September 9th at Peoria Sports Complex from 6-9pm. If you cannot make the early check-in time, you will be able to check in the morning of event.
